**YOU DONT NEED TO KNOW HOW TO SCREAM**
We are a alternative/hardcore/electronica band called "Forever A Hero" from Lansing looking for a singer between the ages of 16-20 years old (a little younger or older is fine).. we PREFER someone that has had some experience in previous bands or groups writing and preforming music.. if you dont have experience in a band but have a decent voice we will still love to check you out.. STAGE PRESENCE IS ALSO *A MUST*. We are looking at getting serious in our music and have some talented musicians involved that are all willing to practice 2-3 times a week, play gigs, and possibly travel or tour locally and out of state depending how we sound. To get an understanding on how serious we are in music 2 members were in a previous band that was 6th best unsigned hardcore band in the state! So far we have 2 guitarists, a drummer, and a synth/backup vocalist. So if you have heard of the bands "attack attack!, the devil wears prada, we came as romans, i see stars, or silverstein" that is what we are aiming to sound like. I just wrapped up some work and am currently seeking new projects. I am NOT just looking to record rock bands.
I have experience recording brass, woodwinds, and exotic percussion in addition to all the traditional band instruments.
I also have college level classical and jazz training and would love to work with any sort of musicians.
The studio is a modern studio using Logic Studio Pro on a powerful Mac but I tend to use a fair amount of outboard tube gear for that analog sound.

My rates are very low and I offer writing, recording, mixing and mastering services.

For the EP, we'd ask that the engineer donate their time. The VOA will give you a receipt based on the value of that time, which you can then write off on your taxes. Regarding the live recording, a deal could probably we worked out that you share in the proceeds of the sale of that cd, which would be priced around $10 or more. Those details can be worked out prior to the actual recording date. The plan would be to hold that concert in early December, so that the EP could be sold at that time.
