I've been in a lot of bands, have spent a lot of money on equipment, and I've wasted a lot of time working with guys that didn't take things seriously - or that had very different goals. So I got out, sold everything, and now I'm itching to play again.

If you have a COMPLETE band (minus a bassist) with plenty of songs (at least 15 originals or 40 covers), have a PA system, and all the guys are very talented... I may be interested.

I'd like to play out at least twice a month, prefer hard rock/alternative covers or a good metal band that doesn't scream too much (some REAL singing!).

Make sure you have samples of your stuff on your Mypace page, or be prepared to email me a few samples.

I'm a very serious musician, I can play guitar and sing as well, so I can make contributions to writing new material or polishing up exisiting songs. I have lots of experience with PA and recording gear (have owned complete PA systems and complete recording setups). I would like to put together a band. I have nobody yet. I do have songs -- we could use those, or we could make up our own. I'm not interested in producing in any particular genre, just making the coolest sound we can, given what's available.

I play guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, and the Chapman Stick, and I sing. Here are some links to music that I made on my own last summer. It's *not* an example of what I want to do; it's only meant to show I can hold a tune and understand music theory.

Two tracks are lounge-jazz, one is death metal, one is rock, and four are solo piano + electronic drum experiments. I had to record it in a residential area and so I couldn't make the vocals loud.

The Great Lakes Pride Band has been invited to perform in a movie
being produced in Royal Oak, MI June 17. We received a phone call
from Daniel Sladek, the director, inviting as many band members who can participate.

It will be shown on Lifetime, national television.

The movie is "Prayers For Bobby." As many as 500-1000 people in Royal Oak
will be viewing this production as its being made.

Hopefully, we can get as many Band members to join us Tuesday morning in
Royal Oak, Michigan at 9am to 12 noon

What great exposure for the band, WOW!

hello - my name is austin and i am an inexperienced non musician type. i really like music though, and figured that shouldn't stop me from playing and looking for others to play/sing with. i am learning/playing a little drums and guitar these days, and have a keyboard too that i would like to learn to play.
