Hand Painted and kiln fired glass Replacement Shade for antique lamp. This Tam-O-Shanter style shade is made in America of hand blown Opal Glass. It has a ruffled top and has been painted with a floral design surrounded by a rich purple background typical of the lamps made in the 50's and 60's to replicate 1800s Hurricane/Banquet Lamps. It was kiln fired 7 times to a temperature of 1075F to achieve the background color. The shade has a 10" fitter, a large 13.5" bulge, and stands 10 1/8" high.

The blank (unpainted) replacement shade cost $198 and now has $70 worth of firing. I have invested 30 hours of designing and painting. The shade is selling for less than my cost with no charge for designing and painting.
