I'm helping to liquidate the estate of a friend of mine from Florida. He had a huge kitchen (14-ft ceilings!) and collected a variety of primitives and antiques to decorate the walls and shelves with. These are all items that he had displayed on/in a raised niche above the pantry entrance. I do not know the actual provenance of any of these, but his resources were fairly unlimited and he generally had good taste. The prices are not negotiable until after I renew the ad at least a couple times.
Currently I have available:
A beautiful gathering basket that is 16 inches in diameter, 14 inches at the handle, and hemispherical in shape. Selling for $65.00
A truly gorgeous, colorful gathering basket with knotted embellishments that is 16 inches tall at the handle, 9 inches tall to the basket lip, and 14 inches wide at the center. Very attractive basket. Selling for $85.00
A nice, shallow basket with strip of contrasting material around the wall. 6 inches tall and 15 inches in diameter. Selling for $20.00
An oak slat woven firewood basket that is 17 inches long, 16.5 inches handle height, and 14 inches at the widest (where the handle is meshed with the sides). Selling for $55.00
The remains of a wooden pail or round box. Parts of the hardware for the bail are there, but no bail. The bottom is partially missing. Still a very interesting display piece. Selling for $30.00
A large basket 27 inches long, 17 inches wide, 8 inches tall, in rather rough shape, but still fairly sturdy. Selling it for $30.00
A laundry-shaped basket that has two cute small flowers on the front. Measures 20" x 22" at the top and 14" tall at the handle. Small amount of loose weave near each handle. Selling it for $35
If you have use for all of them (currently seven items) I'll sell them together for $320 - 70 = $250
If this ad is still up, the item is available; please do not contact me just to ask that.
If you are interested, either call or email (no texts). I usually check my computer a few times each day, or you can often reach me quicker by calling the house phone between 7am and 8pm. (click ‘reply’, then ‘show phone number’)
