I have a variety of old items that my friend had on display above the mantel in his kitchen.
I have a green early McCoy ringed pitcher, from the shield era (1920's) in very good condition. Selling it for $25.00
I have a vintage (1900-1949) Hull yellowware pitcher with green accents and a cow motif. It stands 8 inches tall. It has some hairline cracks and two very small chips on the upper edge. Selling it for only $45.00
I have a nice, dark brown jug, like a moonshine jug. Not sure of the capacity. No chips or cracks. Interesting texture to the bottom. No maker's marks that I can discern. Selling it for $55.00
I have an old salt crock, with the original wooden lid. No maker's marks and I couldn't find one exactly like it anywhere I looked on-line. It's otherwise generally in good shape, but was once broken and repaired. Not readily visible when on display, but very visible inside. Selling it for $20.00
I have a small crockery/pottery plate, 2.5 inches in diameter. I was told by a reputable source that this was a salt plate, but I believe it is also called a butter plate. Some staining that didn't come out with mild dish soap, but might come out with something a bit harsher. Selling it for $3.00
