I have four separate wooden boxes that are part of an estate I'm helping to liquidate.
I have a Libby McNeill & Libby Corned Beef Wooden Crate Box. 7” x 7.5” x 15” Nice old wooden crate (1946?). One board on bottom is slightly loose. $25.00
And I have a Fawn Beverage Co wooden crate. 10” x 8” x 17” with metal-reinforced edges and hand holds. (I could only find one like it for sale on-line, for $129, which I thought unreasonable.) I’m selling this one for $60.00
Vintage American Platinum Works (1903-1958) wooden box. 3.75” x 4.25” x 6” dovetail joints box. $22.00
Singer Puzzle Box. (Approximate measurements are 6-3/8” long x 3-3/8” x 3-3/8”) Description from internet: “This antique wood puzzle box was included with Singer sewing machines in the late 1800s, holding all the accessories, stamped with the patent date of February 19, 1889. It is easy to open and close, with all hinges and closure in working order. No accessories are included. " The finish is in good condition on this one except minor wear and the original velvet lining is intact and in reasonably good shape. ” Selling for $75.00
If you are REALLY into the cool old wooden boxes, I'll sell the group of four boxes together for $16. Otherwise, the prices are fair and firm.
