This is a used, but well cared for, Trek Verve+ electric bicycle. For full details on this type of bicycle, I recommend you check it out on the Trek website: https://www.trekbikes.com/us/en_US/bikes/hybrid-bikes/electric-hybrid-bikes/verve/verve-1-lowstep-lt/p/40990/?colorCode=red . (Note that page is for the "low-step" version. As photos make clear, this is not the low-step version, but nearly all other specs should be the same. Since they are sold out, the Trek website no longer has information on the standard version.)

The battery has approximately 8200 miles on it but has shown little diminishment of range. Two nice Thule saddlebags are included, as pictured (value approximately $150). (I don't think it's the exact same model, but the Thule bags are very similar to these: https://www.thule.com/en-us/bike-packs-bags-and-racks/panniers-and-bike-bags/thule-shield-pannier-13l-_-3204205 .)

Note that the rear disc brakes appear to need new pads, very little braking at present from the rear brakes.

If you're new to e-bikes, the better bikes (like this one) have the motor integrated into the pedal drive system. The cheaper ones have the motor on the rear wheel, which can result in various problems (like accidentally severing the wires to the rear wheel). So watch for that difference when you're shopping. And for the Verve+, the drive system and battery is made by Bosch, so that's quality.

The integrated headlight and taillight are especially nice, if you've never had a bicycle like that before (no worries about getting home before dark). Fenders keep you dry when the roads are wet. And of course Trek is a well-known, serious bicycle brand.

Local pickup only in East Lansing, Michigan. As link above indicates, looks like this bicycle is presently selling new for $2300 from Trek (without saddlebags).
