condition: excellent
Anniston, Alabama, is about 25 miles northeast of Talledega. On July 24, 1992 an event was held to benefit the Winston Cup Racing Wives Auxiliary

The benefit had 17 drivers appearing, with entertainment by “The Noteables.”

The event was held in the middle of the 1992 Winston Cup Series, which end in November with Alan Kulwicki edging out Bill Elliot for the championship.

As you can see from the back of the fan, Kulwicki was there. Also, Richard Peey was there, who retired later that year as one of the greatest NASCAR legends of all time. I’m guessing that the Auxiliary did well that day.

As you can see from the photos, the fan is in great shape, as nice as it was 32 years ago.

I’m not sure many of these fans survived, at least not in this shape, since July in Alabama is damned hot.

To continue to protect the fan, I’ve enclosed it in a heavy-duty, UV resistant, polypropylene sleeve which will come with shipping.
