Probably Made in USA, but cant say for sure.
STATEed to have Come from a Theater in Kalamazoo , MI
Wood seems to have been refinished once, and cushion was probably reupholstered once too.
These things and the modification are well and very sturdily done.
The sides are either iron or steel painted like iron. I THINK!! Very sturdy in any case.
Kept in CLEAN CLIMATE Controllled BUilding in OLD TOWN Lansing, MI

Originally meant to be bolted down,The chair has a very slight side wiggle, but extremely sturdy, and un/folds smoothly and quietly nevertheless Stands on its own very well both folded and in sitting position. Can be used as you see it quite well.
Wear does exist on everything, but quite slight. Except the bottom of chair has splintered a bit ( see picture)
The cushion is comfortable yet firm. a very good quality sitting!!
