condition: new
I have currant bushes for sale starting at $25.

Varieties include:

Risager Black Currants - This is a true European black currant with high yields and good for fresh eating. It's resistant to White Pine Blister Rust, Powdery Mildew, and rust & leaf spots.

Crandall Clove Currant - This is a somewhat rare/unknown black currant that is native to North America. It produces black currants that are sweet/tart with a hint of clove flavor. When it blooms in the spring, the flowers give off a profuse clove like scent that will draw you to this bush.

Rovada Red Currant - This is a later blooming red currant (not susceptible to late frost). It produces heavy crops of large translucent berries born in long clusters. Great for eating fresh or processing into sparkling red jams or jellies.

Pink Champagne Currant - This is the result of a cross between red & white currants, and is considered the "champagne" of currants. Has attractive, translucent, pink-blush berries that are born on medium long clusters, are sweeter than reds, and have a high quality and flavor. Often consumed fresh, they make beautiful sparkling gourmet juice, jelly, jam, syrup, toppings and pies, and add an attractive sparkle to almost any salad.

Hranilovich White Currant - This is a wild seedling that showed up in my neighbors yard, seeded from a red currant bush in her yard. White currants are an albino version of a red currants that are translucent. They are typically less tart than red currants.

All of these bushes grow fast and can start producing berries in their 2nd year, and by the third year will give you a significant harvest.

We are selling these from our small backyard nursery, Fruitful Landscapes, on the NW side of Lansing in the Tecumseh River neighborhood.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or to schedule an appointment.
