This tractor was shop built by our grandfather back in the 1940’s. It has a Ford Model A engine. It has 3 transmissions, one of which drives a winch for the boom. My memory tells me that it has a Diamond Reo rear end. It has a narrow front end. It has been barn kept its whole life, but we no longer have the room to store it so would like to make it available to someone who would appreciate its historic value. This was built at a time when tractors were hard to come by and too expensive if they could be found back during the WWII era…Before 3 point hitches, our grandpa was able to have the implements like a disc or plow attached and then pick it up and carry if to the next field. It was driven in and parked in the garage a decade ago, so we know it will run, but currently it does not have spark. We didn’t trace down the problem or the part, but figured if you know these old engines, you may already have a coil or whatever it needs sitting on the shelf. It does need a battery. The starter was rebuilt when it was parked.
