These are more items that my friend had above the mantel in his kitchen in Florida. He traveled a good amount, so I do not know if he bought the Italian pottery in Italy or collected it here in the States.
I have 4 different pieces of vintage Orvieto (L.Ar.Ce.) pottery from an Italian potter. Three have their covers, but the Arnica apothecary jar does not. The canister with the man depicted on it has a small hairline crack in the top and a chip on one side of the lid, otherwise I believe all are in good shape. (Man = 5"dia and 8.5" tall, with lid; Pepe = 4.5"dia and 6.75" tall, with lid; Woman/Sale = 5"dia and 7" tall, with lid; Arnica apothecary or vase = 4.25" dia and 8" tall, without lid) I am selling these four items (three with accompanying lids) for $60.00 each, or $200.00 if you buy all at once.
The caffe canister is not marked Orvieto, but is very similar in style to the 4 previous. It is 4.5" dia and 7" tall, with lid. I am selling it for $40.00
I have one smallish hand-less cup, I do not know if it is intended for coffee/tea or as a small vase or trinket holder. It is in excellent shape and very attractive, although I believe it is more modern. I am selling it for $15.00
I have a modern olive oil cruet, hand painted with olives on a branch. There is a discoloration along the lip that may be a hairline crace, or a manufacturer's defect. Selling it for $10.00.
I have a vintage Grease crock, with no lid. It has a manufacturer's defect on the inside bottom that does not keep it from being sound. In the front photo, the area that looks as if it might be a chip is a manufacturing irregularity, not a chip. It measures 6" dia and 5" tall. Selling it for $25.00
If this ad is still up, the item is available; please do not contact me just to ask that.
