With over a decade of hands-on work primarily with the elderly, I’ve provided private care as well as specialized memory care in nursing homes. I graduated from a certified nursing program in 2013 and am highly skilled in daily living assistance including Hoyer lift transfers, wheelchair expertise, safe vehicle transport to appointments, bathing, dressing, bathroom assistance, light housekeeping, meal preparation with special diets, and basic physical therapy support.
I’m patient, compassionate, and trained in de-escalating and soothing combative Alzheimer’s and dementia patients while keeping them safe.
I truly love caring for seniors — they are fascinating, full of rich history, and deserve respectful, joyful support in their vulnerability. My favorite parts of caregiving include reading to clients, playing cards or board games, doing nails, and taking them to bingo or other fun outings when possible. I’m available for full or part-time care, as well as last-minute fill-ins for regular caregivers. No live-in care. I have excellent references and a clean background check.
